Hut info & team

Original hut text (taken verbatim)
Dear Mountain Friends! The Bielefelder Hütte will remain closed through June 3, 2026. We will reopen on June 4, 2026, and look forward to welcoming you back. Reservations for the 2026 summer season are available starting now. Reservations for the winter season will open on September 1, 2026. Online reservations can only be made up until 6:00 p.m. on the day before your arrival. For reservations made after this time, please call us directly at the hut. We do not maintain a waiting list! Winter Season Exception: During the winter season, overnight stays can only be booked inclusive of half board. For weekend dates, a minimum stay of 2 nights (i.e., from Friday to Sunday) is mandatory. Please also note the cancellation policies that differ from those of the summer season. Default setting: HP included! Any electronic confirmation generated by the system for winter season dates that do NOT include half board or for a stay of only ONE night between Friday and Sunday is invalid! In such cases, the reservation is not considered binding. After submitting your reservation, you will receive a confirmation link. Please confirm it within 6 hours; otherwise, your reservation will expire. We also recommend checking your spam folder. One more thing: After a long hike, you’ll often just want to collapse into a cozy bunk. But wait—wasn't there something about sleeping bags? Exactly right! A hut sleeping bag is an essential requirement for securing that well-deserved place to sleep. Please bring a new or your own used and disinfected hut sleeping bag!
