Rifugio classificato sulla strada da Werfen all'Hochkönig, sentiero europeo di lunga percorrenza E4. 18 posti letto in 8 accoglienti camere doppie e 2 camere singole, 20 posti letto nel dormitorio del rifugio e 8 nella dependance. Stube storica e accogliente camera per gli ospiti. Ristrutturazione ecologica con stenditoio, temperatura controllata e docce, anche calde a seconda del rendimento fotovoltaico. Terrazza e prati per prendere il sole. Una meta molto apprezzata per gite di un giorno e pernottamenti con una piacevole serata in rifugio. Adatto alle famiglie. Salita normale dal parcheggio escursionistico Dielalm 620 m (sentiero n. 401) o dal parcheggio escursionistico Imlauberg (Schwarzkogelweg) 700 m, ogni 2,5 ore circa. Partenza alternativa dalla valle di Tenneck/Blühnbachtal, Werfen o Pfarrwerfen/Imlau, ciascuna a circa 1.150 metri di altitudine e 3,5-4 ore.
