Willkommen in Pontirone Tal! Die Berghütte befindet sich auf einer Höhe von 1.811 m ü.d.M. auf einer Panoramaterrasse mit Blick auf das Pontirone-Tal mit Piz Strega, Giumella und Bidensc am Fuße des Giumella-Passes, von wo aus man das Calancatal erreichen kann. Renoviert und eingeweiht im Jahr 2011, verfügt die unbewachte Hütte über 8 Betten. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, über einen Gasherd zu kochen.
